King Communications
One of the services that most businesses lack today is customer follow up. You buy a product or a service but once you experience the problem from lack of knowledge - i.e., you don't know what you are doing - most businesses simply consider it your problem and brush you off with an "I don't know" or "We can't help me.". But when our church recently experienced that lack of knowledge problem with the new phone system we purchased through King Communications, the absolute opposite was true. Within minutes, Bill called back or actually sent one of his employees down the very next day to resolve the problem. Even though our ignorance was frequent at first, King Communications never wavered from their commitment to us as a valued customer. We are very content with our new phone system and very happy that we went with King.

NEC Achieves Three Cisco Masters Certifications in the U.S.
Posted on Monday, July 11, 2011 at 9:28 AM

Irving, Texas – July 11, 2011 – NEC Corporation of America (NEC) announced today that it has achieved the Cisco® Master Security, Master Managed Services and the Master Unified Communications Specializations. These certifications recognize NEC for its proven expertise and ability to design and integrate network solutions based on Cisco’s product portfolio, resulting in closer relationships and desired results for customers. It also recognizes NEC’s investment in the ITIL® processes, practices and tools necessary to provide high-quality managed services.

"To help turn the promise of world-class IT networks, security and unified communications into a strategic advantage, customers are demanding an enhanced set of skills and capabilities from channel partners,” said Edison Peres, vice president and chief go-to-market officer for worldwide channels at Cisco. “NEC’s achievement of these certifications ranks them among the industry’s elite.”

The Cisco Master Security Specialization is designed to recognize an elite group of resale channel partners who have invested in the most in-depth technology skills and have consistently demonstrated success in providing services for Cisco’s value-added security solutions.

“NEC combines more than a century of expertise and innovation to create customized, high-performance solutions based on leading products and services from NEC, Cisco and others,” said Hal Libben, vice president, enterprise solutions sales, NEC. “Achieving these three Cisco Masters certifications for the second consecutive year underscores our commitment to be our customers’ trusted advisor from designing the right solution to implementation and throughout the solution’s lifecycle.”

To achieve the Master Security Specialization, partners must first attain the Cisco Advanced Security Specialization. Partners must then meet a series of stringent requirements in three categories: technology capabilities, sales expertise and Cisco Lifecycle Services. NEC met several Cisco and industry-standard technical certification requirements; provided customer references that document prescribed design and deployment capabilities; and supplied evidence that they have the infrastructure to support a full menu of Lifecycle Services offerings and capabilities.

As a Cisco Master Managed Services Certified Partner, NEC demonstrated excellence in its ability to deliver sophisticated solutions, met stringent requirements that reflect a depth of capabilities, and underwent an independent audit by an objective third-party auditor. NEC was also required to offer at least two managed services using the resources and procedures necessary to deploy, manage and support Cisco solutions.

To achieve the Master Unified Communications Specialization, NEC first attained the Advanced Unified Communications Specialization. NEC then demonstrated master-level sales, technical, and services capabilities. Furthermore, master specialized partners must possess a number of Cisco and industry-standard technical certification requirements; provide customer references that document Cisco-prescribed design and deployment capabilities; and show evidence that they have the infrastructure to support a full menu of Lifecycle Services offerings and capabilities. The Cisco Resale Channel Program provides a framework for partners to build the sales, technical and Cisco Lifecycle Services skills required to deliver Cisco solutions to end customers.

Through the program's specializations and certifications, Cisco recognizes a partner's expertise in deploying solutions based on Cisco advanced technologies and services. Using a third-party audit process, the program validates a partner's technology skills, business practices, customer satisfaction, presales and post-sales support capabilities, and other critical factors that customers consider when choosing a trusted partner.
