Irving, Texas – October 17, 2011 – NEC Corporation of America (NEC) today announced it will showcase five healthcare-focused, integrated IT and communications solutions that can help improve workflow efficiencies, reduce energy consumption and streamline communication during this year's Gartner Symposium/ITxpo 2011 in Orlando, Fla. NEC is serving as a Marketplace Sponsor and will be co-presenting with Virtua Health on its state-of-the-art Access Center, which features NEC solutions.

The NEC Solution Provider Session featuring Virtua Health will be Tuesday, Oct.18, 12:30-1:30pm, Oceanic 7, Dolphin Hotel. The session titled, “Patient Navigation – Using Advanced Contact Center Technologies at Virtua Health,” will showcase how patients using Virtua’s Access Center, with its expert patient navigators, are evidencing a 50-percent higher contribution margin.
